An LMFT is a license granted by a state board, usually after a master's degree in marriage and family therapy, a period of supervised clinical work and an exam. The training centers on relationships and family systems, though many LMFTs also work with individuals. How listings are ordered

Therapists currently taking new clients are shown first. Beyond that, ordering is not for sale: no therapist pays to appear, to rank higher, or to be featured. There are no ratings or reviews on this site, because we have no reliable source for them and would rather show nothing than invent a score.
